About this notice
This website represents EDWARDS & CO SERVICES LIMITED, company number 15959757, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Thorne & Co Upper Ground Floor, Overross House, Ross Park, Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire, United Kingdom, HR9 7US.
EDWARDS & CO SERVICES LIMITED is responsible for the enquiry and recruitment information described in this notice. It explains how information is used when you browse this website, make an enquiry or apply for work.
Enquiry information
The form sends your name, email address, company and telephone number if provided, callback preference, selected requirement and installation outline through the website’s processing endpoint and Google Apps Script to a private Google Sheets enquiry record. Web3Forms sends a notification to the configured enquiry inbox. Name, email address and a service selection are required to process an online enquiry; the telephone number is also required if you request a callback. Otherwise, the remaining fields are optional. Providing them is not a statutory requirement. You can also contact Edwards by phone or email.
Subsequent correspondence may include job requirements and other information you choose to provide.
The submission includes the page and form placement, together with any supported campaign tags in that page’s address. Campaign tags are unverified context; they do not establish how a customer was acquired. The website does not save attribution in cookies or browser storage, or follow it across pages or visits.
Enquiries use Web3Forms’ server-side spam filtering and a hidden form field to help identify automated submissions. Visitors do not need to complete a separate verification step. Providers may process connection information, such as an IP address, and email details for security and spam filtering.
Each enquiry has its own submission reference so a retry does not create another record. The receiving system also uses a short-lived, protected hash of the connection address to limit bursts of submissions. The address and hash are not stored in the enquiry spreadsheet or used for campaign attribution. Email filtering does not automatically remove an enquiry already recorded in the spreadsheet.
The form retains unsuccessful entries in the current page so you can retry; it does not save them to local or session storage. Your browser may offer its own autofill or form-restoration features.
How information is used
Enquiry information is used to respond, prepare quotations, plan requested work and manage relevant follow-ups. Where you are arranging your own contract, this can involve taking steps at your request before entering that contract. Handling enquiries on behalf of a business, keeping relevant business records and protecting the enquiry service rely on legitimate interests in running the business and maintaining security.
The form does not subscribe you to marketing. Enquiries are not used to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Providers, access and retention
Access is limited to people authorised to handle enquiries and related administration. Google Sheets and Apps Script record enquiries, Gmail receives notifications, and Web3Forms provides the notification service. Notifications go to the shared Edwards enquiry mailbox, [email protected].
Cloudflare Pages hosts this website and its enquiry-processing endpoint. Google provides the enquiry spreadsheet, Apps Script receiver and Gmail mailbox. Web3Forms provides enquiry email notifications and server-side spam filtering. These providers may process information outside the UK. See Google’s privacy policy, Web3Forms’ privacy policy, Web3Forms’ data processing terms and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Web3Forms’ published terms describe submission-data retention of up to three years, processing in India and other global infrastructure, and transfer provisions including Standard Contractual Clauses and a UK Addendum. You can contact us at the address below for information about international processing and safeguards.
Enquiry records are kept while needed to handle enquiries, provide services, manage relevant follow-ups or meet relevant legal obligations. Records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer necessary. The appropriate retention period depends on the nature of the enquiry, any resulting work and applicable legal requirements. Provider-held copies and security logs have their own retention arrangements.
Contacting Edwards by phone or email
The email link opens your email application and the telephone link opens a calling application where supported. Using either link does not submit the enquiry form.
If you choose to send an email or make a call, the information you provide is shared through that service and used to deal with your enquiry or work. The website does not record calls or monitor email conversations automatically.
Job applications and CVs
If you apply through the Careers page, you send an email directly to our shared Gmail mailbox. We receive the contact details, location, skills, experience, availability and CV you choose to provide. The website does not upload or store CVs, and applications do not pass through the enquiry form, Web3Forms or the lead spreadsheet.
We use this information to assess your suitability for available work and communicate about your application. This relies on our legitimate interests in recruiting suitable people and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Access is restricted to people authorised to handle recruitment and necessary administration. Google provides the mailbox service; its privacy information and the provider arrangements described above apply to email processing.
CVs and applicant details received by email are retained only as necessary to assess the application, handle recruitment correspondence and meet related legal requirements, then deleted. Unsuccessful applications are not automatically retained for future opportunities. Any proposal to keep applicant details for future opportunities will have a separately defined purpose, appropriate notice and a justified retention period. You can contact us using the details below about your application information and exercise the rights described in this notice.
Cookies and browsing
The website’s own code does not set cookies, use local or session storage, run analytics, load advertising pixels or track telephone calls. Fonts, photographs and website scripts are served with the website. The forms do not load a third-party verification widget. There are no embedded maps, videos or social widgets. Providers may apply necessary security measures, including security cookies where relevant.
Cloudflare receives the information needed to deliver and protect requested pages, files and enquiry requests, such as the requested address and connection details. Its handling of service and security information is described in the provider privacy information linked above.
External links take you to other services with their own privacy information. If website technologies change, this notice and any controls needed for them must change too.
